Whenever a major Christian religion is telling everyone to not see a
certain movie, that is the one I will definitely go and see. People do not get furious over lies as much as they do the truth.

I see ground being broken for the destruction of the false images of Jesus that religion has created ever since 300 AD. It will take brave and courageous people to tell the truth about this human who came to bring us a message of hope and love that can save us and our world. First,
there must be an uneducation concerning the lies about God that religion
has propagated down through the years that take away from the message of this humble servant of God who died for telling the truth
to a nation of people who claimed to be "chosen." People who kill their
neighbor because he makes them angry cannot call themselves chosen
people of God.

In the last twenty years many controversial movies about the life of Jesus and many books are causing uss to think that maybe the real Jesus has
never been understood by religion after all.

I would like to know how you feel about movies and books that present
a different Jesus than religion espouses.

First of all, The Da Vinci Code is pure fiction, nothing more. In fact, I think the only reason it was so popular is BECAUSE it was blasphemous - people like contraversy, they like stuff that stirs up the prudes. It was actually a fairly average thriller novel, I've read better from people like Michael Chrichton.

Second, from what I hear from reviewers, the movie's actually pretty crap, so I didn't waste 10 bucks going to see it. Plus I don't really like Tom Hanks all that much, although Audrey Tautou is a cutie.

I'll wait till it comes out on video, and maybe then I'll get around to seeing it.

I have seen it Elena, and it is not as good as the book, and the book is not so great. But how can you prove a secret, if it could be fully proven then it wouldn't be a secret.
There is a much better documentary, and a better book holy blood holy grail.
Anyway anyone who accepts Cathlic version of Christianity must be nuts, but i am not saying that it doesn't have value because it does. The ideas in the holy grail fall in line with the vedic line of the divine feminin.
I think you have to be a little bit smart to really understand whats being said and the basic sublime message in this so called contraversy.

I've downloaded it for free and will give it a view, although a friend that has read the book says the film is a bit naff, and doesn't make sense compared to the book.

I must confess that I was brainwashed as a child to believe that I had to love God with all my heart, mind, soul, and strength and my neighbor as
myself. This happened at a Protestant Church and an evangelical
pentecostal Bible School. This all took place around age 5-7. Of course,
the Bible was the Book I became convinced was all true, holy, inspired
by God, etc. and I never dreamt that religious ministers would use that
book to lie and deceive others about God.

Anyhow, I learned you have to create God in your mind before you can
believe in Him. So my creation came from the so-called "Christians"
which had their origin at the Council of Nicea about 300 years after His
death. It has been down hill ever since they changed Jesus into a
super human freak that had no genitals, never left a fart, had erectile
dysfunction if he did own a penis and definitely never lusted after female
flesh. Actually, I don't believe He was gay either. He was Jew and they
forbid the practice of homosexuality.

I say all this to remind everyone that Jesus came out of a vagina. And
so did all of us. Are you going to tell me that a man who came from a
uterus was any different at birth than any other man?

It is His message of truth that saves us from our sins because when we
love others we save them from us and ourselves from them. When
I am told He "died for us" I laugh and say he died cause He was
murdered by people who were afraid of a very simple truth that would
put them out of their temple jobs. Jesus said, we are His temple. We
don't need buildings made with hands because we are the handiwork of
our Father and He lives in us.

Do you have any idea how happy I would be if just a few people on
godulike would believe what I say and go out and tell others. We
could start a wave of love flowing all over this world that would give a
chance for everyone to know the true gospel (good news) message
that we as humans need to know and do to have a successful journey
here in this life, no matter who or what we are!

We are all good and full of light and energy for positive results, but we
make choices that take away the light from love and we end up
trying to be happy with people, places, and things that are earthly.
We are in this world, not of this world.

I have not written due to computer problems. I missed you Rats,
Markendaya, seattlegal, now, ER and all the rest of you that make me
think and examine my beliefs to see if they are true. I don't have but
one belief, so I don't have much testing to do. The first and only truth
I embrace with all my heart is "God is love."
