Well, since this is "God U Like", I thought it might give us all a little insight if we shared where our core beliefs come from.

So, what religion are you? Sorry if I have left your one out, but there is the option to vote for 'other'.

I find this really difficult., but maybe......

Humanism is a democratic and ethical lifestance which affirms that human beings have the right and responsibility to give meaning and shape to their own lives. It stands for the building of a more humane society through an ethics based on human and other natural values in a spirit of reason and free inquiry through human capabilities. It is not theistic, and it does not accept supernatural views of reality.

However, who am I to say there is nothing up there? I have been known to walk into a church on occasion.

Know what Yahweh, you may have stumbled across the very reason for the creation of this site.
At the moment there are 112 faiths researched and listed on the main site (does any one ever have a look at the main site?) and there are currently 155 ‘Others’ to be investigated and get the G-U-L treatment.
On a personal note I have not yet found one I like very much. Hence my take on the whole faith business with https://www.godulike.co.uk/faiths.php?chapter=106&subject=intro

I sort of build my beliefs as i go along. if i absolutely had to label myself i'd say Unitarian Universalists, because they say that the only way to define god is through your own experience, and therefore creeds and holy books shouldnt be used to define god for you. Although, most of my beliefs run along the lines of hindu/taoist ideas like yinyang, and atman, and all of that good stuff.

well, i am god. i am just not your god. and i reply to my own questions and criticisms and i can do something about my situation. i am the only thing worth believing in. there is a lot to be said for self belief,.... Laughing
